The Beauty Wrap-Up!: GLOSSYBOX Beauty

I'm a GLOSSYBOX Beauty Girl!

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you know I'm a beauty junkie. I'm obsessed with skincare, bronzer (especially bronzer), lipgloss, blush, mascara . . . everything actually. I'm a girl that can be easily conned persuaded into trying anything. I don't even mind if it doesn't work out, because I have a network of friends and co-workers who will readily take my gently used products off my hands. For my fix, I frequent Sephora, Murale, and The Bay, on an almost daily basis.

So imagine my joy when I received a lovely e-mail asking for my mailing address so they could send a box of cosmetic samples. Naturally, I giggled like a school girl and set personal best response time record for replying.

What I received, was a GLOSSYBOX.

GLOSSYBOX is a beauty subscription service originally from the UK and is now available in Canada. Once you sign up, you receive monthly, an indulgently wrapped GLOSSYBOX, filled with premium beauty samples. Imagine once a month you receive at your door, a box of beauty products try. Heaven. And it's only $15 CDN a month, shipping included.

This is what I received:

Mineral Hand Cream from Ahava Skincare
Moisturizing Stick Lip Balm from Elizabeth Grant
2 Neo Whimsical nail polishes from Essie Nail Enamel
Love body lotion from Oscar de la Renta
Prevage Night Anti-Aging Restorative Cream from Elizabeth Arden
and,
Cosmetic Sanitizing Wipes and Mist from Beauty So Clean -greatest invention ever!

At first I thought that GLOSSYBOX sent me two bottles of Essie Nail Polish in Neo Whimsical (an oh-so-pretty blue-based, rose plum hue), because they knew I would love the colour and wanted to keep me stocked up. But I now believe GLOSSYBOX wanted me to share the wealth. So I'm giving away a Essie Nail Polish in Neo Whimsical, some samples sizes of my favourite products (from philosophy, Viktor & Rolf and others) and a $25 gift card to Sephora, or Murale (if you live near one of the Canadian cities that has one).

To enter the contest, just send an e-mail to with "GLOSSYBOX Contest" in the subject line. The give away closes on Thursday, March 15th at 11:59 pm. I'll announce the winner on Friday. Good luck!

Do you have to be in Canada to enter? :-/

It's open to Canadians AND Americans! Sephora says the gift card will work in the US (although it will probably be worth $24.97 LOL). Enter away Jackie.
